So fast my army NSF chapter is goin 2 close liao. Tis 2 yrs realli let me see alot of things and alot of diff pple frm all walks of life wif diff backgrnd,wrkin style, personalities & attitude. Learn hw 2 work under tremendous stress s trainee n s sgt who is being sandwiched by men & superiors... Hwever there is always a grp of frens who will go thru all the shit wif me, curse n swear @ the same person 2gether n hang out 2gether. Thx alot 4 makin my NSF life so vibrant n lively rgdless s trainee n s specialist. W/o u all, my life in army will b bland n a misery. Haha...

The ord dinner was remarkable n i managed 2 take photos wif almost every specs n officers in my coy xcept xuan zheng n cpt nigel. The dinner food so so lar. Ha the ambience there they do until machaim clubbin liddat. Ha @ least tis time no 1 question abt my age when i ask 4 red wine. Spend most of the time tryin 2 take photos wif the pple i noe.

Nw just finished uploadin the photos online. Nw my external hard disk realli got alot of photos. Ha realli nothing 2 do now so i hav decided 2 use some photos 2 blog abt my life for the past 4 yrs...

2004 (1st yr in JC)

1st yr in SAJC includin my 1st three mths. But too bad dun hav any photos for both orientations
1st yr i spent 1st 6 mth wrkin in giordano (bugis) & the nxt 2 mth @ giordano (yishun) b4 i resign 2 focus on my study...

Finally after yr end exam managed 2 get a class photo after keeping the tables n chairs @ the hall.

4 my cca i joined Fitness Club n bcame the publicity head @ 1st. @ the yr end camp, i received a horse...

Last but nt least, i got pw 2 do n my civic tutor did the grpin 4 us n ended up wif ant, hf, yz n yulan. Didnt noe pw was so fun s some of them realli made a fool out of themselves. Haha. All the house visitin, flyin drumstick, aeroplane, fake minutes, fake meetings... Eventually, tis concluded when we submit our thick n bulky file for grading. This is hw fun my yr 1 was in which most of the time in pw.

2005 (2nd yr in JC)

2nd yr in SAJC. I started to wrk hard but inevitably still end up wastin alot of time goin out play or stay @ hme play games instead of studyin hard. Fitness club n my class for the whole yr 2. I bcame vice class-rep & assitant treasurer/publicity head in fitness. Time realli flies n soon we r havin the graduation ceremony n A lvl liao.

2006 (1st yr of army)

BMTC Pulau Tekong (Jan 06-March 06)
5 jan 2006 my mum n dad accompanied me to pulau tekong. It is my NSF enlistment date... Soon my parents left n i was allocated to BMTC Sch 2 Orion Coy Plt 2 Sect 3 Bed 8. Ha Alv was in the same coy same plt but diff sect from me while stanley was diff plt n live upstair frm me n alv. 3 mths of Basic Military Trainin begins...

POP lor. Bcome a private liao. But still got 1 yr 7 mths 2 carry on... After 1 wk of blk leave, i was posted 2 Pasir Laba Camp School Of Infantry Specialist for my Basic Section Leadership Course.

Pasir Laba Camp SISPEC (March 06-May06)
10 wks of BSLC. Pasir Laba camp is a brand new camp n thus the accomodation was veri gd. Was posted 2 Echo Coy plt 2 sect 1... Hweva my buddy is oso another yong sheng n he is some1 i noe frm my sajc 1st 3 mth orientation grp. In BSLC, alot of outfield trng until sian.

After the tiring 28km rd march on 27 May, we marched 2 the parade sq for our mini POP. We were presented the cpl rank by our PC n our postings were read to us. Wk b4, i went to PTI trial test to try my luck to go in2 PTI after my BSLC. On the day of postin, instead of goin to PTI, i was informed tat i was posted to Armour Training Institute for armour conversion course. Wah i was stunned s the camp is super ulu. Haiz... Some went 2 engineer, artillery, recce while some stayed @ PLC for Advance Section Leadership course. Chengwee, Joel, Chok, Sianghan(my bmt plt mate) were posted 2 the same place s me

Armour Training Institute- TCC (June 2006-Oct 2006)

The camp super ulu.... Got 2 walk abt 10 min 2 reach bus stop n the bus took abt 30 min 2 reach a neighbourhood. For armour, there r 3 types of variant 2 trained in - tank & BX 40/50 & BX 25mm. I was selected for tank commander course along wif 26 other pple. Out of the 26 pple, i noe mingze, ming wei & sianghan s they r my bmt plt mate. Sianghan is oso my echo plt mate in sispec. Chok was oso in tcc. Sec schmate, Charles n JC schmate, wei sheng & kelvin r oso another grp of pple i noe in tcc. AMX-13 SM1 is a tank operated by 3 men- Driver, gunner & commander. TCC is a 4 mths plus course wif an overseas trip. It is slightly longer than other courses in other units. My crew consisted of me, wei sheng n kelvin lim, a pure SAJC team. Haha!

After 4 mths of trng, i achieved my personal ippt gold wif a 2.4km of 8.49min n SOC pass of 8.25min. I finally bcome a 3rd sergeant n was posted to 42 Singapore Armour Regiment to serve until i ORD...

42 SAR (Oct 06-Nov 07)

Ha when i knew i was posted to 42 SAR, i was like sian jibua. Got 2 take 2nd yr men who tends 2 try to smoke new spec. Worst of all, we got 2 take Army Training Evaluation Centre test @ nxt yr may & july to determine the efficiency of 42 SAR in defending Singapore. Pple like Jeremy who go 41 SAR is super heng. They will take new batch of recruits n start training them frm bmt. These men will tend 2 b more cooperative n scare of the sgts s they r still new 2 the army system. Soon i was posted 2 lion coy s 34C tank spec along wif my bmt sect mate n tcc course mate, mingze & choonsiang. Ha the three of us r quite pleased wif the postings s the 3 of us know each other quite well. In unit, time really flies n nw i m abt 2 ORD liao. Sian i dun hav much of the unit photos s most r kept by my superiors who took durin outfield...
