If u wan 2 improve ure runnin timin n stamina or do intensive cardio exe i suggest u try tis out. u do 800m under 3min15s den rest 4 3min15s. Do tis 4 @ least 4 sets. i gurantee plus chop u can get gold timin. Sian nxt wk upgrade 2 3x1200m my leg gone case liao.

Mons do somemore mg stuffs den end of day n go canteen. The rojak n muah chee cheap n super nice. After tat still got time go back bunk slack 4 3hrs b4 i slp. Tues 8km live run plus tactical handlin test 4 mg. Gunner strip mg! Gunner assemble mg!.......Pass all the tests n certified 2 go 4 live firing. The whole day take test n time realli flies. Thurs crew strip main gun. Heng nt strip the entire main gun frm the turret of the tank juz 1 part. But it is super dangerous s if we r nt careful we can kiss gdbye 2 our hand liao. 1st we practice usin a simultator nxt we practice inside a tank. Super hot s the ventilator fan nt switched on n inside super cramped. The worst of all is i kena zham by the spring effect of the cockin handle nw my arm still pain. Early RO den free time n slp.

Fri the best cmpter rm self study until bk out. Act got live run but due 2 the annual armour rd relay where all the armour units in spore will gather n run a relay competition. Ha nw like every bkout i will go wif my bunkmate 2 go arcade 2 chill out. Keep practicin our marksman by playin shootin game. Erm tis time rnd i got improve quite alot liao. The final outfield day of my 1st 2 mths in ATI. Day tank drivin test n nite tank drivin test. The most sian thing is b4 the test, it started 2 rain. 这次真的 ho seh liao! End up wif hav tank knowledge test 1st. Ha i find conductin officer 2 conduct my test n heng all the 5 qns he asked i can ans. 1 test dwn 2 more 2 go.

When CAT 1 is lifted, we started the drivin test. While waitin, i tried 2 recap all those mistakes i made durin the drivin practice. Sian the onli thing tat will nvr fail 2 come across my mind will b the bloody gullies. Super stressed n keep sweatin until sgt saw liao tot i got some pespiration prob n ask me water parade again. Goose fraba goose fraba... Breathe in breathe out... Worse than takin A lvl.

My turn... I climbed up the tank, passed the test bklet 2 the tester n wanted 2 go in2 the driver hatch. Wah i tot i saw some lao sai left by the prev driver. i was like wad the fish was tat! Cheh mud lar n i juz sat on it.

Instructor: Driver, start ure engine (machiam the daytona wan)
Den i juz voiced out the startin procedures n do s accordingly. After tat, i juz switch my helmet 2 intercom mode 4 easy communication wif the instructor standin @the cmmder hatch.

Once i started movin, dunno y nt so nervous liao. Tis time win liao i broke my record n travelled @ 30km/h 4 some while b4 hittin my 1st obstacle.
Instructor: Driver slw dwn! I dun wan 2 fly out of the cmmder hatch!
Wah super heng 1st few obstacles i cross smoothly despite the instructor askin me 2 slw dwn.

Finally reached the gullies. i stopped my tank n aligned my tank accordingly. @ tat time, i juz told myself juz fuck it n i stepped on the accelerator.
Instructor: Erm driver b careful hor! i dun wan 2 end up on newspaper 2ml instructor die bcoz of reckless driver drivin on gullies. I wld rather die in war than due 2 tis incident!

1st three slopes up n dwn smoothly...Hweva the last 1. i accelerate upslope den release accelerator. hw come the tank nvr move dwn?
Instructor: Driver, wad the fish u doin? u tik u frm some circus, balancin a tank on the slope.

Upon hearin tat, i accelerate a bit den s the tank went dwn, i release accelerator 2 let it roll dwn smoothly. Just s i wanted 2 continue 2 the main rd, a Armour inf vehicles juz zoomed past n heng i zham brake or else i tik my instructor flew out liao.

After tat, cross a few more obstacles smoothly n went back 2 startin pt.
Instructors: Erm still ok xcept 4 ure last gullies. Ure acceleration sometime like got shit stuck nt constant. Den u r nt wad alonso or wad marker(schumacher) lar dun travel so fast lar! (... last time say i slow nw say i 2 fast.)

The nxt day got stripped rd wheel n tracks test. Tis 1 nt so jialat s drivin so i ended up passin. Den the funny thing happened:

Finally drivin package over liao n i can hav license liao. Sian but got 2 wait 1 mth 4 them 2 issue u the license. Tokin abt tat, until nw i still haven got my black beret which they always say soon. Realli sick of wearin jockey cap liao. Tis wk got touched abit on gunnery phase liao. Learn abt machine gun n tactical handling. Most of the day spent "gunners strip MG or gunners assemble MG" in a designated time.

Tis wk oso heard some odd stories n bad news. My frens in the bunk bside mine kept complainin sometimes all of them will wake up @ 3.30 2gether. N one of them felt tat something is nt right n he told me he felt tat the place nt veri clean... Makin me more scared. Heng nw i nvr go toilet in the middle of the nite. The worst is durin my stay in ATI, i will spend my hungry ghost festival in the camp. S a welfare IC, i tik i wld suggest 2 my sgts tat we burn some offerings durin tat mth hopin tat nothin will happen durin tat mth. U can say i superstituous or wad lar. But better 2 believe than nt 2 lar. Somemore i can tell u tis do help.

The worst of all will b most of our live firin will b durin tat mth oso. One of our sgt said tat we will go 2 a range in jungle so called nt veri clean. Got quite a no of occurence b4. Got once he is leadin n guiding a gunner n driver in his tank 2 a place 2 shoot @ a tgt durin nite live firin. Suddenly the driver stopped n my sgt was quite amazed n thru com n kept askin the driver y he stopped thru com. Hweva the driver nvr say anithing. So my sgt alighted n went 2 ask him. My sgt was so shocked 2 c the driver face super pale. After tat live firin, the sgt asked the driver wad happend. The driver told him thru the night vision device while he was drivin close hatch, he saw 2 adult n 2 children wavin @ him near the tgt board. Hweva my sgt who nvr close hatch said he juz saw tgt board nothin else...

Tis wk i got new appt oso. Bcame welfare IC n 1st task is 2 do a proposal 4 a mini happy hr in camp on july. Got 2 form a committee oso. Heng got siang han n chok 2 help me. Nxt wk song goin simulator 2 play computer game n enjoy air con 4 gunnery phase. Haha. Nw got trning 4 army half marathon oso but sadly we r onli allowed 2 run 12 k coz we r 1st wk soldiers cannt run 21 k. Nw oso got intensive ippt trning 4 our course 2 achieve 70% gold. Nw got sgts 2 specially trn pple wk in board jump like me. Sian all of them pointed out tat my jumpin technique correct is i nvr jump high enuff. Bobian lar leg short is liddat wan. Tis wk commences my drivin phase. S a tank cmmder, got 2 go thru the roles of driver, gunner n lastly the cmmder. 1st day go there den teach us some basic things den let us juz drive the tank arnd the area. I super cocked up. When the drivin instructor asks me 2 move, i machiam like playin daytona juz zham the accelerator all the way in. Tis causes the tank 2 move veri oddly n resulted me 2 kena kan. Instructor: u siao ar Formula 1 racin is it?

Anw when the tank moves it is nt s stable s car s it tends 2 jerk here n there abit. Hence, i will drive @ abt 10-15km/hr n the max spd i drove b4 is 20km/hr 3rd gear. Nt much confidence oso so better drive slowly. Drivin @ high spd oso high chance of tank overturnin which can b lethal. Thus, we went thru some overturnin drills n go do the overturnin simulator. Wah i almost fly out of the simulator durin the simulation. The tank is quite hard 2 manuevre oso coz diff tank the steerin diff some easy 2 pull while some req alot of strgth.

Soon, we drive durin the nite oso n lastly we learn 2 drive thru obstacles. Sian my weakest obstacle will b the gullies which is consecutive slopes. We r supposed 2 drive up n dwn the gullies smoothly. The 1st time i drove realli cocked up. S i drove close hatch, my vision is dependent on the periscope which cover onli a small dist range. When i goes up the slope, i can onli c the sky so muz estimate when 2 release the accelerator n let the tank juz go dwn the slope smoothly. Hweva, i accelerate n estimate wrongly n release accelerator n the tank reverse back 2 the startin pt n i kena kan. The other time is i accelerate 2 much such tat it goes dwn the slope super fast which may result in an overturn w/o releasin the accelerator n again kena kan. After tryin a few more times, i improve lar but still nt much confidence oso.

While waitin 2 drive tank, we had directin of tank lessons or talk cock session. Ha got 1 time my fren n i super bored until we decided 2 find something 2 do. Den we spotted a dead lizard wif a lot of flies on it. My fren started 2 throw stones @ it n the flies will juz fly off. Ha every moment the flies flew off, my tat fren will scream s he is scared of flies n cockroaches n tat they will fly 2 him. Wah i cant blieve it! Despite of tat, he kept throwin stones whenever the flies fly back 2 the dead lizard n screams whenever the flies fly. Super funny n he says is super thrillin machiam watchin horror movie. Drivin tank is fun n ok 4 me lar xcept 4 the gullies. Hweva the maintenance is quite xiong lar 3 person do all the checkin plus oiling stuffs. Do until my whole coverall realli drenched wif sweat n the instructor saw liao asked me whether i got pespiration prob. Bobian c him got 2 water parade half water bottle.

Fri bk out den sat went out wif alex, jm, hm, n alv. @ the same time buy presents 4 alv n didnt noe he realli fall 4 our tricks when we asks him 2 help us choose clothes n cologne. Alex super happy coz mother went overseas den can anitime go hme. We shopped, ate, talked cock n ended the day @ kbox sang to our heart content. Wah monday almost report late 2 gedong camp. Tat camp situates @ lim chu kang there onli 1 bus. Sian my dad cant drive in so i got FBO n pull duffel bag in2 the camp. I kan pua suay my camp is the furthest frm the main gate n i got 2 pull the heavy d.bag 4 10min b4 reachin my camp. Upon goin in, c the wrds "Once armour always armour" I sian jibua coz mr lim jl say after my course confirm post 2 an armour reg. Of all 6 regiments, abt 4 is in gedong which means i reservist oso muz come back tis camp.

Upon reachin went up n den went 2 a table wif 5 lists 2 look 4 my name. Hweva i cant find my name on the lists n i was like shit dun tell me i come wrong camp. Den the guy there pass another lists wif less name. Wah heng ar my name was on it n he told me 2 wrds tat made me almost happy like bird(my new sgt fav phrase). Tank commander. Ha i nt armour infantry cmmder. Tank cmmder dun dismount frm tank n rd march. No more FBO no more shellscrape fire trench. SBO nw onli 4 soc nothing else. AI is still infantry n the onli diff between them n norm inf is tat they take vehicle 2 obj n nt rd march.

Hwever, my joy was shortlived. The sgts suddenly said out of 39 pple there, they will choose 27 pple onli. Thus, got 2 go thru cycle motor test 2 test our reaction n innate abilities 2 ctrl things. The test ok lar like playin arcade game. @ last, i m qualified 4 TCC. Nt wrk 4 The Coffee Connoisseur but go thru tank cmmder course. Ha veri funny we r oso called s tankies. Tis wk oso got familarisation of tank. nt bad lar mount my trngin tank n learn the openin n closin of hatch, all the switches, wrkin procedures n mechanism of engine. Pai sei cant reveal 2 in depth coz the tank infos r oso considered classified. If i say 2 much confirm kena DB. Anw the most xiong thing abt tank is the maintenance part. 3 person got 2 clean, check oil, grease n oil the tank, check the tracks n suspension. Nw got 3 nw suits 2 wear when handlin tank. We oso had co n oc openin add 2 tell us more abt the course. Ha our oc veri cool. He oso tells us the requirement of the course. Gettin 80% of all theory tests n prac tests. If nt got 2 recourse until gettin tat. 2 match wad last course did, 100% soc pass n 75% ippt gold. Lastly, integrity n gd attitude is oso impt. Tokin abt ippt, i had my ippt test tis morn. Finally get silver wif all 5 pts xcept sbj but runnin slower by 11s liao. Haiz i almost celebrate my silver lyin on the sick bay bed in medical centre. After the run, my head super giddy n after cool dwn, it was worst until i almost black out. Bobian i sound off n went c medic. Haiz over exert myself again coz after 4 rnd i start 2 feel unwell liao but 2 more rnds 2 go so i juz press on. Tot recover liao after some rest but in the afternoon after doin chin up regime the same old headache came back again. Is tis worth it? i oso nt sure abt the ans...

Anw my cse operates on a 5 day wk sia. Happy like bird. Hahaha. Nxt wk trngin realli starts 2 kick in liao. Entire wk on drivin tank n almost every mornin got spd trngin. Wif those trngin hopefully i get used 2 runnin n solve the headache prob. Nw got world cup but dunno y i dun hav the mood 2 watch oso. I wld rather spend time goin out than watchin world cup @ hme. Fri mornin woke up den got 2 rush dwn 2 beach rd 2 sew my cpl rank on all my uniforms. Heng my dad helped me bring hme the uniforms so tat i no need 2 bring them 2 ubin. After tat, took 2 frm lavender mrt 2 changi village. The trip quite long until i dozed off.

Woke up reached CV liao den boarded the bumbt 2 ubin. Nw the bike shop uncle recognised me liao so giv me $2 discount off the bike bill. Sian it was raining n i dun hav ani poncho but quite sian 4 me 2 stay alone @ the jetty waitin 4 the rain 2 stop so i juz cycled 2 noordin beach. I almost slipped @ a turn when i was brakin.

Joined the j2s n j1s 4 cycling session but ended up helpin ms lee n samuel 2 teach a j1 hw 2 bike. Act i juz learnt it last yr so i oso no face 2 teach them. In the evenin, my batch pple( jm huihan andy calista vicki n yen mei) came back 4 the dinner. 2 sum up tat evenin we had sharin session. Wah sadly 2 say my english realli super jialat liao nw realli one piece one piece. Ha i tik i will b more fluent wif hokkien, chi n vulgarities lor. End up still ok s they still understand my half eng half chi.

Thru out the camp the j1s kept askin me y i still come back 2 the ubin camp 2 suffer wif them. Ha my ans wld b i hav nothing 2 do @ hme. But ultimately i wld like 2 c hw the j2s r doin lar n hw the cca is goin. U all may say i siao or wad lar but if u ask most of the seniors, they wld oso b like me come back n help if they hav time. Guess it wld b due 2 the strong bonds we all had wif the cca ba. Realli missed the times we had fun durin trainin n camp n serious discussion in which every1 has the common objective which is 2 make the camp or cca more fun. I really nothing 2 do so decided 2 go back ubin yesterday wif andy. Met up wif andy 4 lunch n stocked up food 4 ourselves, ms lee n the jnrs over there. Abt 2hr later reached tat island. nt bad $5 can get a bike overnite until nxt day evenin. Long time nvr ride bike tot i confirm peng san wan. Heng tis time rnd not much prob n ha i finally got the confidence 2 ride upslope, dwnslope n jungle terrain successfully.

Ubin realli nice place 2 cycle. Not alot of pple arnd somemore the rd quite easy 2 cycle wif some up n dwnslop 2 let u enjoy the breeze. The breeze is super relaxin, let u 4get alot of things n escape frm all the army regimental stuffs n problems tat u cant solve. Soon reached noordin beach n went 2 find my jnrs 2 talk cock. Soon ms lee came oso. Ha dunno y always liddat wan. When i meet up wif fitness pple, ms lee, seniors n nw the jnrs will jack me. Wah i last life duno owe them wad 2 deserve tat. Tekong sky is veri nice @ nite s u can c alot of stars sparklin n @ the same time can catch fireflies. But the ranger mosquitoes, ants n spiders spoil everything. The mosquitoes upgrade liao nt even scared of mosquito coil bite me like i some blood bank liddat. Tat nite i realli owin plus monster kill due 2 the no of ants n spiders i kill. If they nvr bite me they wont end up like pancake. Ha but mayb bcoz of their bites i may bcome some spider or antman. Ok not funny!

Mornin ate breads n went 4 cyclin a while until the j1s n my jnrs reached the campsite. Due 2 andy got 2 bk in 2nite in2 sispec n i got not much stuffs 2 stay overnite, so we left ubin. Wah super heng juz s we alighted the bumboat, it rained heavily. But 2ml got 2 go back there again coz i promised the teachers 2 help out until sat. 2ml i go there b bad guy go set up the solo walk trails n help conduct it 4 the j1s 2ml nite. Den confirm will hav the missin person scenario in which i got 2 scream n shout @ them again. Anw 2ml can go cycle the western part of ubin s 2day i nvr cover the area there. Just hope the weather will b fair 2ml.
