Lame n idiotic: AOH 2007

Last wkend i was part of the Army Open House 2007 participants. Haiz live firing 2 show pple who visited the shock effect n capability of my tank live rnd. They will either mount up on tonners 2 c frm the back while those fortunate wan will b able 2 mount up Bionix n watch the live firing of all armoured veh up close. Ha but those pple hav 2 suffer even more frm the loud noise due 2 the firing.

Ha my 14A tank n my head were featured on straits times 1st page. But dun tik every1 can distinguish me ba s half of my face was blocked n my entire face was camouflaged. Quite heng lar. In one's lifetime, u got 2 chances of appearin on the newspaper. 1st is u bcome famous by doin something heinous or veri gd 2 the society. 2nd is appear on the orbiturary when u sell salted duck eggs.

Anw durin 5 days, we did like 9 runs a day. Wah quite tiring n sian. Every mornin 6 got 2 wake up n @ nite abt 11 den reach camp 2 rest. @ the same time, nature is nt so kind 2 us s it almost rained everyday wif intervals, causin me 2 b drenched. Everyday got 2 put up wif the 25mm, 7.62mm, .5mm HMG, 75 rnds bang bang bang. Tik my sense of hearin deteoriated liao. Dunno y parents bring their children 2 come 4 the live firing. The noise generated frm tis live firing definitely can harm those delicate ear drums of children wan. Worse still, on one of the day, the main gun just fired off upon me loadin in the rnd although the gun is "safe" n the gunner did nt press the fire button. Mishap may hav befalled upon me if my hands n legs r @ the wrong place @ tat time.

Act after this AOH, i did feel a sense of achievement. Tis is a rare opportunity which i can b part of it 2 portray the capabilities of armr veh n wad m i trained although it seems monotonous everyday. Luckily the organisers got help us take dwn photos of us doin tis AOH 2 let us keep. Organisers oso catered KFC n Mac for our lunch n dinner on the last day 2 reward us oso. Offs r oso promised 2 us but i dun tik i care oso s i got 2 much 2 clear liao. Ha. Anw if any1 of u can find any pics of the mission world of the AOH pls send me. Thx alot

Goin 2 ORD soon liao but i already find tat $$ nt enuff liao. Goin taiwan most prob on 6 nov. Den got 2 buy desktop nxt mth. My drivin practise startin in Nov after taiwan trip. Dec or jan most prob will hav class chalet but i strongly suggest jan b4 the gers go back uni s it will b more cheaper. Jialat! Guess i will start teachin a bit of tuition 2 sec sch pple. All subj except english. $20 per hr ba. Heard tat my tis rate is damn low but i dun care liao. Must hav some source of income b4 i get a stable job... Starbuck, coffeebean, subway, restaurant, apparel shops???
