Lame n idiotic: Air Force Seminar

2day woke up quite late n thus got 2 rush 2 Oriental Marina 4 the air force seminar. Luckily my dad picked mi up @ newton or else i confirmed coz i dun realli noe where it is located. Act supposed 2 go wif alv n jm. Howeva, last wk, 1 officer called mi n asked mi 2 go 4 the mornin wan den i blur blur agreed so 2day mi 1 person sat there quite sian lar.

After registration, the seminar started. 2day seminar mainly talked abt the careers available 4 A lvl graduates in RSAF n the SAF scholarships n the army sign on application n QnA. The available careers r pilot, weapon system officer (ADA, UAV, FTR n C3) n air engineer officers. I definitely out 4 pilot liao since i dun kenna the selection test. Ha but i heard tat WSO(FTR) can oso sit in fighter jet n they r the 1 tat aim n destroy target wif missles nt the pilot(they juz fly the jets). So i was like tell myself wah got hope liao @ least can shoot enemy n sit in fighter jet in air force. Sigh my happiness was shortlived. When they moved on 2 the nxt slide, requirement 4 both pilot n WSO(FTR) min height 162-190cm. Whereas heng my vision is <500 or else nt even suitable 4 ani air force careers. Now i can onli b WSO(ADA), the 1 tat in charge of air defense 2 shoot AA gun or anti air missile @ enemies, WSO(C3), the 1 tat stays @ ctrl twr n read coordinates on radar or lastly WSO(UAV), the 1 tat ctrl some intelligence stuffs by usin some remote ctrls. All these seem dull 4 mi 4 me. Sigh in conclusion air force nt suitable 4 short pple who realli wan some thrills in NS like mi. Ha again, the reality is harsh on short pple. Nvm since air force nt suitable i shall try 2 excel in Navy or Army lor.

2day oso talk abt SAF scholarship. Most of the scholarships r applicable 2 students tat hav 4 A subj lar n onli a few r suitable 2 3 subj pple like mi. Nvm @ least there r some n the offers r quite gd n the bond yrs nt veri long oso. After all the seminar stuffs den we had QnA session lar. Some of the qns asked r qutie funny lar. One person asked if u r pilot will u hav time 2 spend wif family n another person asked is it there ani risk or danger in being a pilot. Ha they asked tis type of qns in the end kenna some funny replies. After tat rushed dwn 2 toa payoh 2 mug wif gk. Wah toa payoh realli food heaven realli a lot of delicacies 4 u 2 go there n try out. 2day we had laksa n fried oysters which r damn delicious. After tat went LJS 2 mug until evenin den went hme lor. Anw pple continue 2 mug hard n strive hard 4 ure A lvl.
