Lame n idiotic: Bro POP parade

2day both my parents managed 2 take their time off 2 attend my brother passin out parade in tekong 2 mark his end of his Recruit days n the start of his day s a private. After preparin all the things we need 2 bring, my dad drove us 2 SAF changi jetty. Wah b4 reachin the changi commando campsite, alreadi got traffic police spot check car liao so kenna held up 4 a while. Wah den after the road off changi village, there is a quite jialat traffic congestion s 2day alot of parents were drivin 2 c their son end of Tekong day. 4 my bro, Mohawk COY parents r supposed 2 report @ 2.15, but thx 2 the traffic jam, we reached @ 2.30. Luckily we r nt the only 1 late lar.
Since prime minister was goin 2 tekong 2 inspect 2day's batch, the security was veri tight. Everything muz oso check. Super sian we stood outside the ferry terminal n waited 4 like 20min under the hot sun b4 they invited us 2 go in. Den go inside the ferry terminal muz wait like abt 45 min b4 we board the air con ship 2 tekong. When reach tekong liao, heng no more time delay n we headed straight 2 the parade square.
When we reached there, just nice the programmes juz started s PM made his way 2 the stage. Den he walked dwn 2 the parade square 2 inspect the recruits. Ha he onli inspect a few company den sian liao den went his way back 2 the stage n gave a quite short speech. All the recruits standin dwn there motionless was damn relieved tat the PM didnt giv a national day rally on the stage. Ha despite we r standin on high grnds, we still cant realli c my bro lar coz he oso arnd my height. After tat, the companies began 2 march pass the parents out of the parade square. After tat, they all put dwn their M16 n helmet n den put on the sort of chiong sua kit n ran back 2 the parade sq whereby parents r supposed 2 put on the bloody recruit cap 4 their sons 1 last time. Wah s'pore parents sibei kiasu. All like 1000 yrs nvr c their son liao despite the fact tat their sons can book out every wkend. They all chiong dwn the staircase 2 their sons lar. 1 siao aunty kept pushin mi lar, causin mi 2 feel super 2lan. After puttin on my bro cap, we all took turn n took 4tos wif him. @ the same time, we realised some recruits quite sad coz their parents nvr come. In the end, their sergants put on the cap 4 them n tried 2 joke wif them lar. Ha but some dun let parents put on cap 4 them but let ger fren put on cap 4 them lar. After tat went back 2 our seats n the recruits began their battle dance juz like those new zealand rugby team always does b4 their match. Den came the climax of the day whereby the recruits can finally throw their bloody caps in2 the sky 2 mark the end of their recruit day. Some siao kias dunno muz throw their caps how many times den happy. Some more siao go arnd wackin their bunkmates or even sergants lar. They tossed their bunk mate or sergants up in2 the sky nt fearin of punishments lar. My bro faster zhao or else he short n light confirm kenna.
Den he went back 2 get his bags n joined us 4 snacks. Sian den we still hav 2 wait 4 our departure time accordin 2 COYs. Ha den we spent time chattin while waitin. Ha my bro said he dunno whether kenna SISPEC or guards. If he kenna SISPEC, den shiok liao nxt yr i go bmtc scarly he bcomes my platoon sergant. Howeva guards will b much better coz his prospect will b much better. He oso told mi tat Mohawk is 1 of the best COY in BMTC coz annually its intake alot go SISPEC or OCS. Howeva, tis come wif a price which is u hav 2 put up wif a lot of tekans. Pple company do 20 pushups in the mornin Mohawk did 12 times the no of pushups than them. Jumpin jet r count of 100 nt count of tens. IPPT nt gd prepare 4 late wkend bkout or prepare 4 nite trainin. No chance given 4 the slightest mistake- prepare 4 guard duty. Can c the result frm my bro lor. Last time he super slack now keep askin mi 2 go stadium run wif him or go gym. Wah his chinup frm 2 becomes 11, standin board jump pass, 2.4 frm fail bcome 10 plus n he like kenna 4-5 guard duty liao. @ the same time, i realised although i m veri short in SAJC, in BMTC there r even shorter n older pple than mi lar n some of them r even sergants. Ha nxt time they scold mi they hav 2 lift their head up n look @ mi lor.
Den the army pple cocked up. Shld b Mohawk after O'Ryan but it turned out 2 b Ninja after O'Ryan. But luckily Mohawk sergants veri gd immediately ask all the Mohawk units 2 cut the Ninja units or else we might hav 2 wait 4 another 1 hr lar. Despite of this ,we still hav 2 slowly queue up 4 tat ferry back 2 mainland. Behind us got 1 uncle super kiasu n bhave s if Storm Katrina is chasin after him keep pushin forward. Ha in the end he oso ended up in the same boat s us lar. On our way back, luckily no more congestion liao. Wah 2day we like spent 5 hrs in tekong lar n abt 3/4 of tat time is spent on waiting lar. Howeva worth it lar coz tis is my bro big day. Surprisingly, he quite missed his days in tekong despite of sergants pickin on him n all the siao trainin. Sian if liddat dunno whether my parents will go Tekong 2 put on cap 4 mi nxt yr or else i will b super sian liao!
